This is a life saver. My husky, Sky, sheds 24/365 so I want to brush him everyday. He hates it because the hook brush goes deep and pulls his fur. He runs away when he sees it. He's terrified of the vacuum groomer. It's blistering hot outside and neither of us is comfortable. If I brush him indoors it flies all over the house. Enter this little thing.
Used this on my 2 cats. One short hair and one long hair. They both loved it. (note they like to be brushed). They purred. I liked using it as the steam amount is just right. No noise. No heat (I used cold tap water). It left a moist look to their fur. Not overly wet. Regarding the steam port: you do need to remove the loose fur from the brush from time to time or it will block the port a bit and make water drops. But that is not a problem removing the loose fur. And it does capture the fur. Not flyaway like a regular brush. I'm so glad to have found this product. Charges in a USB computer port in 30 minutes. Cable included.
It is very easy to use. After using it for a while ,The hair becomes smoother and the effect of removing loose hair is also very good. Good for cat
I had seen this in some infomercials and was anxious to try it. I am happy. I ordered it because I have a very large cat who cannot groom himself because he weighs 26 pounds. This may have save both of our sanities. I found that I could plug it up and charge it and then add water. We have now gotten into a routine where I can brush him in the evenings and I could not believe at first how much hair was coming off of him. The bristles are soft enough that he actually enjoys the brushing and does not fight me like he did with other brushes. I have been able to use the brush for about 3 to 4 uses before needing to recharge which I think is a great battery life. It’s easy to wash off and I’ve had no issues refilling it with distilled water. I’m very pleased with this and the amount of hair that it pulls off my cat more importantly I’m happy that it does not allow for dandruff to form. This is a great tool for any pet lover in your life.
